Neha Dhupia, born on August 27, 1980 in Cochin, is an Indian model and actress. She was crowned Miss India in 2002 and competed at Miss Universe 2002, placing in the top ten. Born in Cochin, Neha went to school in Vizag before passing out of Army Public School. Neha started her career at the age of 19, in a TV serial Rajdhani, produced by Bobby Bedi of Bandit Queen fame. Neha decided to join the modelling world and also did few plays and TV serials. She made her debut on the tinsel screen during 1997 with 'Jab Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya'. Then during the year 2003 she appeared in two Telugu movies, before making her first major appearance in a Bollywood flick 'Qayamat: City Under Threat' also during the same year.
