Model-turned-actress Tapsee, who made her filmi debut with Jhummandi Naadam (Telugu), followed by the yet-to-be-released Aadukalam (Tamil), will be the heroine in debut director Sohan Sinulal’s long-delayed Mammootty film Doubles, produced by K.K. Narayanadas. Notably, this is her first Malayalam movie.
Doubles is all set to start rolling in Pondicherry from November 15. The film has yesteryear heartthrob Nadiya Moidu playing Mammootty's twin sister, while Bollywood character actor Atul Kulkarni and Kannada actor Avinash will be seen in important roles.Also in the cast are Suraj Venjaranmoodu, Salim Kumar, Biju Menon and Anoop Chandran. The story and screenplay are written by Sachi and Sethu. Camera is by P. Sukumaran. James Vasanth sets music for lyrics penned by Vayalar Sarathchandra Varma.
