Tollywood producer Bellamkonda Suresh is all set to remake Kollywood`s latest hit `Kaavalan`.
Sources tell us that Balakrishna is likely to play the lead role in the Telugu remake, which is expected to be directed by either Puri Jagannath or Ramesh Varma.
`Kaavalan` is a remake of Malayalam super hit `Bodyguard`, starring Dileep and Nayantara. `Bodyguard` is also being remade in Hindi with Salman Khan.
After the success of Simha, Bala Krishna is concentrating much on his film career. Unlike earlier, this Nandamuri Yuvaratna is signing up more films in a year and simultaneously shooting for two films.
Presently, Bala Krishna is busy with Dasari Narayana Rao’s directorial, ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ and Bapu’s mythological film, ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’.
The actor has now given his nod for a new film under the direction of Kodi Ramakrishna, who is at present busy with a children film, ‘Uncle Anjaneyaswamy’.
After the completion of the duo’s current films, this new movie will roll onto the floors. Kodi RamaKrishna has succeeded in almost all the genre films.
