Namitha Suffering From Malaria

Namitha-spicy-new- (2)

The tall and well-built Namitha, who was among the top of the list of dream girls in Tamil Nadu till a few months back, slipped from her popularity ladder and finds herself at the bottom-most among the fans’ favourites. There was a time when every new film director wanted to feature Namitha in his film for her oomph factor, which appears to be fast ‘losing’ its grip over the masses.

Though down, she’s certainly not ‘out’ as she is presently busy shooting for the film ‘Ilaignan’, a film in which she plays the quintessential vamp. She proudly informs us that it was Kalaignar himself who recommended to the director to cast her in the role which she has been playing now. The film marks another attempt by lyricist Paa Vijay to establish himself as a hero in Kollywood.

A cellphone company had recently arranged for a live-in chat with Namitha during when Namitha was supposed to answer live all the queries from her fans. As per schedule, the programme was going on at a five-star hotel in the city. Namitha, who was reportedly suffering from Malaria till recently, had made it to the event notwithstanding the fact that she far from being fully ‘fit’.

News of Namitha’s arrival had brought in a huge crowd of curious onlookers as well as her fans which resulted in suffocation. As a result, the already ill Namitha fainted, causing a huge wave of excitement at the venue. The fans were then cleared from the venue as Namitha was made to regain her consciousness by sprinkling water on her face.

She was then rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctor diagnosed her to be still ‘suffering’ from Malaria. She was treated for her illness and was advised complete rest for a fortnight. Later in the day, Namitha left for Amby Valley, a high-profile township near Pune where her family has been staying and got herself admitted to a private nursing home there.

Let’s pray for Namitha’s early recovery from her illness!
