FOR Bollywood actor Anoushka Sharma, a trip from Mumbai to Delhi turned out to be quite a nightmare.
Anoushka, who shot to fame after working with Shah Rukh Khan in Rab ne bana di Jodi , was travelling on a Kingfisher Airlines flight to Delhi for the promotion of her upcoming film Band Baja Baraat . She was accompanied by co- star Ranbir Singh.
Sources said that midway through the flight, the actors had an argument with two passengers.
Sharma and Singh claimed one of the passengers sitting in a nearby seat had been photographing them on his cell phone. But their claim was refuted by the other passenger.
The argument became heated as the actors insisted that the mobile phone be shown to them. But it was promptly turned down by the two passengers. The dispute continued even after the flight landed at the Delhi airport and both parties went to the police station at the domestic airport.
They stayed there for an hour following which the two actors emerged and claimed that a compromise had been reached.
Police officers too confirmed that a compromise had been reached and that no one has filed a complaint.
One of the two persons with whom the actors had the dispute was a former IAS officer, police sources said.
