I’m informed that the actor owes his red eye to one of his pet dogs. Seems he was playing with them before his Being Human show the other weekend... When suddenly, one of his bachchas got a tad irritated and in an attempt to brush his master Sallu’s hand aside, ended up pawing near his eye. Bas, aur kya? Sallu rushed to wash his eye... but by then the damage was done.
However, Sher Lock bhai tells me that one person most moved by Sallu’s plight was Katrina Kaif. Just before and after the Being Human show, she was tending to his injured eye with abundant affection. Aha! I’m sure even Sallu must be thinking, ’Yaad aa gaya woh guzra zamana...’ Or shouldn’t I ask?
